Maya Okafor
Omar Haddad Practice designing as part of a UX team. In groups of 3-4, you will own one feature of a student wellbeing app and learn how to align user journeys, interface patterns, and design decisions so every feature feels like part of one product.
Once the deadline ends, your spot is reserved for you until the end. Please join only if you can take part and support your peers.
If you realize this is not the right time, leave before the deadline so someone else can use the spot.
After the deadline, for any change please notify the project instructor before the start.
What to keep in mind during the project work.
Meet your instructor and group, ask questions, and agree how you want to work together.
Your group will own one feature of the student wellbeing app. Keep the goal small, clear, and useful.
Design in Figma, work in the shared whiteboard, keep files in Documents, meet on Zoom, and use the discussion channel for quick updates.
Use appointments for kickoff, feedback, and progress checks. A short meeting every week keeps the team aligned.
Understand where your feature fits before designing screens. The app should feel like one product, not separate pieces.
Sketch ideas, build a simple Figma prototype, collect feedback, and improve the flow.
Share your final screens, key decisions, and anything the next team would need to continue the work.
Work with your team to turn a business idea into a clear, practical plan. You will define the audience, shape the offer, estimate what you need, and prepare a short final review.
Clarify the problem, audience, and value before your team writes the plan.
Define what you want to provide, who it helps, and why it is useful.
Outline simple costs, resources, channels, and first steps for launch.
Use your appointments to test assumptions and collect input from peers.
Bring your sections together into one clear business plan for review.
The instructor can add more appointments on demand.
